Today -- the key general sessions 🎤 1️⃣ Tuesday's general sessions brought together the world of sustainable design, battery development and digital transformation to show how leaders and pioneers are transforming the world around us at speed. » We heard from HARMAN International's Dylan Neal about how to become a digital thread led enterprise. » Eryn Thomas Devola, head of sustainability at Siemens Industry, shared how nature can inspire us to tackle our biggest environmental challenges, and how Siemens technology can help along the way. 🌻 » Tom Einar Jensen, Executive Chair of Board of Directors, FREYR Battery, brought the story of how digital transformation and AI have the potential to revolution the battery industry. 2️⃣ Wednesday's sessions brought more key customer stories to the main stage, showing how they are using our technologies to achieve their digital transformation at scale » Raymond Kok, CEO of our low-code platform Mendix, and Jabil's Kevin Ferreira showed us a roadmap for becoming a composable enterprise. » Apryl MacLane from Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) told the story of focusing on building the first NAVAIR sustainable digital baseline with 100% asset visibility throughout the entire lifecycle. NEWS! 📣Today at #RealizeLIVE in Las Vegas, we unveiled more details of our ongoing collaboration with Sony and the role that our NX software played in the development of Sony's new XR head-mounted display (HMD) SRH-S1 which was designed using our NX software, a core solution used across Sony to design its industry-leading products. Seiya Amatatsu, Head of Sony's XR Technology Development Division, explains that “Sony succeeded in implementing NX in the fastest schedule in the world and we were able to improve our design process productivity by 25%. Although significant advancements have been made with NX, I wanted to achieve further evolution with a product that brings innovations allowing direct editing in an immersive environment. I believed that could be realized with Siemens and as a result, the XR head-mounted display was developed that could bring innovative products to market more rapidly.” Sony’s XR head-mounted display is a fundamental part of the forthcoming NX Immersive Designer solution, an integrated solution that combines our industry leading product engineering, NX, exclusively with Sony’s breakthrough XR technology to deliver immersive design and collaborative product engineering capabilities. 📅 Siemens’ NX Immersive Designer is expected to launch at the end of 2024.
